Kizimkazi Festival 2026 Gala Night Celebrates Photography, Art and Opportunity
Following an inspiring day dedicated to clean energy and sustainable solutions, Kizimkazi Festival 2026 continued with a memorable Gala Dinner organised by WABA in collaboration with Mwanamke Initiatives Foundation (MIF).
The special evening brought together leaders, partners, photographers, creatives and distinguished guests for a celebration of art, culture, photography and opportunity, culminating in a special auction of photographs captured by talented photographers during the festival.
The Gala was honoured by the presence of Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, adding significance to an evening dedicated to showcasing Tanzania's creativity and the stories captured through the lens.
Each photograph presented at the auction represented more than an image. It captured a moment, a story and a piece of the Kizimkazi experience transforming memories into valuable works of art while creating opportunities for photographers and the creative community.
The evening reflected the spirit of Kizimkazi Festival 2026: celebrating culture, creating opportunities and bringing people together for meaningful impact.
