From Commitment to Action: Expanding Learning Opportunities in Southern Unguja

This marks an important step in MIF’s ongoing commitment to investing in education, empowering young people, and creating opportunities for learners to develop the knowledge and skills they need to thrive.

The initial engagement began with a student orientation session, introducing learners to the Center, its learning environment, and the opportunities available to them. Through SLC, students will engage in activities that strengthen reading and writing, build digital literacy, foster creativity and innovation, and nurture leadership skills.

Implemented in partnership with Global Outreach (GO), SLC reflects a shared commitment to complementing classroom education with practical, inclusive, and skills-based learning experiences.

As activities begin with Kibele School students, MIF looks forward to progressively engaging learners from its other partner schools and supporting more children and young people to realize their potential.
