She became the first women member to table a private motion on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and moved for amendment of the Criminal Procedure Act and evidence law which resulted in the amendment of the Criminal Procedure Act and Evidence Act and further increased the number of one-stop center for GBV cases in every district and campaign on GBV spearheaded by the Government. of the said laws.
